It was last valued at a whopping $1.7 billion, so you haven't heard of The Honest Company, chances are you will.
But for now, here's a peek inside the sprawling, cutesy Santa Monica offices of the nontoxic household products startup, which was co-founded by actress-turned entrepreneur Jessica Alba.
The multi-level, shed-like headquarters provides a colorful, open-plan for a company that focuses on creating products without toxins such as petrochemicals and synthetic fragrances, originally diapers and other baby-oriented products but now cosmetics and creams.
'We started the company with this mission of helping to create a nontoxic world,' Brian Lee, another co-founder who serves as CEO of the Honest Company, told Business Insider.
'We strategically decided to go in baby and family first because we knew that was an area of awakening for a lot of mothers, like my own wife.'
Alba, who owns about 20 percent of Honest, has an estimated net worth of $340 million
